Fans pay to have messages read from the press box — by card from their seats or cash at your volunteer kiosk. Once you’ve connected your Stripe account, card shoutouts settle directly to you, same as registration fees; cash lands straight in your drawer and reconciles at the end of the night. That’s revenue you weren’t collecting before.

Booster and Program are one flat price for the whole organization, per year. Host covers the director running the competition. Nobody else buys a subscription — directors, parents, judges, and fans never need one of their own. Paying by booster check or school purchase order? We can invoice your organization.
Usually the booster organization: it’s a single fiscal-year purchase a treasurer can approve, and the fundraising tools put money back into the same budget. Some districts pay from a fine-arts budget instead — we support that too with invoices for school purchase orders. Either way it’s one flat price, not per-student or per-event.
Nothing is deleted. Your org drops to read-only: every ledger entry, student balance, and report stays visible and exportable as CSV, and families can still pay what they owe. Your books are your books.
Online payments carry the standard card-processor fee (2.9% + 30¢), added to the payer’s total and shown before they confirm — so your organization always nets the full amount owed. You set the fee basis to match your own Stripe rate, and parents are never charged more than the actual processing cost. Checks and cash recorded by your treasurer post at face value, and both count toward the same student balance.
Never. Registering for competitions, judging, self check-in, the live schedule, results, and the full judges packet are free for everyone, permanently. Only the program hosting a competition or running the booster suite pays.
Create the event, set your classes and fees, and share the link — registration and payment tracking run themselves, and bands beyond a class cap are waitlisted automatically for you to promote in one click. The schedule generates from your settings, and next year you can clone the whole competition and adjust the date.
Open the judge sheet, announcer console, check-in station, and cash kiosk while you have signal and keep them up, and they keep accepting scores, advances, band check-ins, and cash shoutouts through a dead zone — queued on the device and synced automatically when the connection returns. Ask your team to load their station before the gates open and leave it open, and a signal drop is a hiccup, not a lost Saturday.
Cash shoutouts go straight into your drawer — fans pay your volunteer kiosk, and the end-of-day reconciliation report balances the drawer for you. Card shoutouts are charged directly to your own Stripe account, same as registration fees — card is only offered once you’ve connected a payout account and your shoutout price is at least $3.00. You choose whether the band absorbs Stripe’s processing fee or itemizes it on top for the fan. Either way the announcer reads them between performances.
